We are pleased to announce that Bruno United FC will be making a full transition this summer to Scorpions SC which will be the foundation to our inaugural year for our new region, Scorpions Rhode Island ! 

After 21 years of developing youth soccer players in the Rhode Island region to become successful high school and college players, Bruno United will become a part of Scorpions SC in an continued effort to provide player pathways and increase player development opportunities. As Scorpions RI, we feel that the Bruno community will continue to thrive in being able to offer a variety of opportunities to their players, coaches and teams. 

The current coaching structure of Bruno United will remain in place. Bruno Director of Coaching and Associate Head Women’s Coach at Brown University, Matthew Mones, will continue in his role as Director of Coaching. In addition, we are excited to announce the promotion of Ernesto Lopes, a long-time Bruno United coach of both boys and girls to Assistant Director of Coaching of Scorpions RI.
