Description:

Mass Youth Soccer believes there is nothing more important than the safety of our children. We greatly appreciate the roles that administrators, coaches, referees and volunteers play in offering youth athletes from all backgrounds the opportunity to play soccer. An integral part of these roles is taking steps to ensure the safety of the participants. Collectively, we are responsible for providing a playing environment that is healthy, non-threatening, and free from emotional, physical or sexual abuse.

Parents also play an important role in the prevention of misconduct and abuse in sports. Please click here to be redirected to the Parent and Minor Athlete SafeSport Training Information. This webpage holds information which will help you as a parent/guardian ensure the players have a positive and safe sport experience.

Coaches also play a very important role in the safety of players. In addition to reviewing the Mass Youth Soccer Safety Policies, please review The U.S. Center for SafeSport toolkit for coaches. This toolkit will help coaches recognize, prevent, and respond to emotional and physical abuse and misconduct in their sport activities and environments, click HERE to review.

This section of the website is the hub for all things related to the health and wellness of our players. Please use the information and resources contained in these pages to do your part for the sake of our kids.
