Scorpions SC Saturday Skills – Central Mass

Scorpions SC Saturday Skills in Central Massachusetts is a high-energy, player-focused training program designed to help athletes sharpen their technical foundation and grow their confidence on the ball.


Led by experienced Scorpions SC coaches, these sessions emphasize individual skill development in a challenging and supportive environment. Players work on:

  • Ball mastery and footwork
  • Passing and receiving technique
  • 1v1 attacking and defending
  • Finishing and shooting mechanics
  • Speed of play and decision-making


Each session is structured to maximize touches on the ball while incorporating competitive, game-realistic activities that translate directly to match performance.


Saturday Skills is ideal for players who are motivated to improve outside of their regular team training and want to accelerate their development within a professional training environment.

RHODE ISLAND JUNIOR WINTER LEAGUE

Scorpions SC is excited to host the Girls Prep School ID Clinic on January 11, 2026, at Teamworks Seekonk Indoor. This event is designed specifically for female soccer players currently in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade who are eager to explore opportunities at prestigious prep schools. With a limited capacity of just 30 players, the clinic offers an intimate and focused environment where participants can engage directly with head coaches from committed schools, including Saint Andrew's in Barrington, RI; Portsmouth Abbey in Portsmouth, RI; and Wheeler School in Providence, RI—with more schools to be announced soon.


The day kicks off with a Prep School Workshop from 9:30 to 10:15 AM, where schools will be onsite to deliver an interactive meet-and-greet session. This workshop allows players and their parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the full scope of academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities available at prep schools. Following the workshop, participants will dive into a 90-minute On-Field ID Clinic from 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM. Led by prep school head coaches, this hands-on session lets players showcase their skills, experience coaching styles, and learn from potential future mentors in a supportive setting.


All games and activities during the clinic will be recorded using VEO technology, with footage sent directly to participants for review and sharing. Pricing is set at $75 for Scorpions members and $99 for non-members, making this a valuable investment in your soccer journey.
